Vol.1 East Side 

Big Village records presents "Cross City Sessions". A brand new live event focusing on showcasing local talent across our fine city of Sydney. Each event will be traveling to a new corner of Sydney, giving young local artists the opportunity to play alongside some of their favorite established Big Village acts and cement their name in the local Hip Hop scene, while being promoted through new avenues and spreading their sound to a wider audience. Our aim is to show the huge range of diversity within the Sydney Hip Hop scene, while also shining some light on the huge amount of talent our city has to offer.

Our first installment is being held on the 'East Side' of Sydney, at the recently opened underground venue 'Jam Gallery' Bondi Junction. Headlining the night we have the 2012 Austrailian Music Prize top 9 finalists Daily Meds, bringing their politically charged, rapid flow lyricism and large bass-driven beats to the east side for their 2nd performance of 2014. In the lead up to their 2nd studio album which will be released through Big Village later this year, Daily Meds are bound to bring the house down. Backed up by a massive local lineup consisting of Dutch, Beastside, Mr theory, Corner Store Superheroes, Prospecta and Kid Fiction, this is one show not to be missed.
