On the 2nd of September Big Band Frequency return to the Spotted Mallard to transform it into the jazz capital of Melbourne. Bringing you three huge sets of swing, funk, and latin favourites (and a few other surprises), we'll be sure to chase away those Winter blues.
Joining us are the extraordinary harmonic vocal trio JASSisters with masters of the swing classic, the Lets Dance Big Band. Playing some of the greatest female-fronted big band charts of the swing era, they'll be sure to heat up the dance floor.
Entry to the Mallard is only $5, and for an all-night, two big band, jazz extravaganza such as this you couldn't ask for a better bargain.
