On October 12 2002, many lives were put on hold as a result of the devastating Bali Bombings. 202 people were killed, 88 of them Australian.
Of the 88 Australians, 3 of them were South Australians.. Joshua Deegan, Bob Marshall and Angela Gallotta.
Fast forward to October 12 2012, and it will be the 10 year anniversary of the tragic event. In an attempt to bring something positive to an otherwise bleak occasion Nick Deegan, younger brother of Josh Deegan, will be holding a fundraising event at Jive to celebrate the life of Josh and the many others killed and injured. Nick Deegan, front man of Adelaide bands Foreshore and Galleon, will be gathering up his old band buddies and putting on a show in an attempt to raise much needed funds for the Royal Adelaide Hospital burns unit.
The night will be a light-hearted showcase of both bands, and a great chance for family, fans and friends alike to come together whilst simultaneously raising funds for a worthy cause.
