The Brazilian jazz group Assanhado Quarteto is preparing for another international tour after performing in Portugal and France, releasing its first CD – Feira, for the first time in Australia, both in Sydney and Melbourne September this year.

With an authorial sound full of personality, innovation, and of course, much Brazilianness, the quartet is formed by the musicians Andr Milagres, Lucas Ladeia, Rodrigo Henringer and Rodrigo Magalhães.

All passionately dedicated to the research, arrangements and compositions proposing a singular musical aesthetic to the traditional music style - Choro - in Brazil, with the use of nonconventional instruments for the genre, such as bass -acoustic, drums, guitar and vibraphone, added to the traditional seven string guitar and cavaquinho.

Exciting and enchanting, it is a front row sort of gig.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).
