The Festival of Half Baked Ideas is a new concept in comedy – a week long run of comedy previews, works in progress or comedy tune-ups from some of Australia’s finest comics trialling their 2016 touring shows, in front of a live audience.

AS PART OF THE FESTIVAL OF HALF BAKED IDEAS - a week of comedy previews

Harley Breen - Smell the Penguins

Winner: Comic's Choice - Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Step inside the mind of a dickhead...

It's good in there. He actually doesn't know much, but he's an award-winning comedian performing his 10th Festival show. That's a decade of stupid.

Harley fills a brand new hour with tips and tricks to life that you never thought you needed, because you don't.

So buy a ticket, it'll be the closest thing you'll find to a unicorn farting a rainbow.

And remember to stop and smell the penguins.

As heard on MMM and as seen on ABC Comedy Up Late, The Project and It's A Date.

'Confident without being boorish, incisive without being cruel, rude without being gratuitous, his comedy is grounded in the everyday and elevated by his charm and perceptiveness' - The West Australian

'He reminds me of a young Billy Connolly' - The Heckler

Nath Valvo - Tongue in Cheek

Sold out shows, 5 star reviews and countless laughs - last year's Happy Idiot is back - happier and idiotier.

Just back from a season at London's Soho Theatre, Tongue in Cheek is Nath' new hour of comedy, having its Melbourne premiere at this year's comedy festival.

Now, he takes on everything from his dysfunctional family to foodies from 90's suburbia to gym junkies and Tinder.

As heard on Nova FM. As seen on The Project and ABC'S Dirty Laundry.
