Angela Harding is Australia's latest cabaret sensation! Winner of the 2011 Australian Cabaret Showcase, this talented singer/song-writer weaves together original tunes with some well known favourites, all while unlocking a vault of well-kept secrets that make her "Just Like You...Only Different."

Having won the 9th Annual Cabaret Showcase in Sydney in December 2011, Angela has since toured her show "Just Like You...Only Different" to audiences around the country to rave reviews!

Originally from Queensland, Angela grew up with a passion for singing and the creative arts in general. Having begun her performance career in Brisbane studying classical voice at the QLD Conservatorium of music, her performance experience in music theatre, soul, pop, jazz and opera includes credits such as Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS, The Narrator in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT, Woman 1 in SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD and Glinda in THE WIZARD OF OZ with Harvest Rain Theatre Company, as well as Simon Gallaher's production of THE MIKADO.

She has performed in concert with the QLD POPS Orchestra, The DIVAS and with American composers Scott Alan, Georgia Stitt and John Bucchino. In 2011 she relocated to Melbourne and made her Victorian, music theatre debut performing the role of Nina in Magnormos' production of DEAR WORLD at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

A natural at the piano, she has become a well versed singer song-writer. With a passion for story-telling, her original songs are a mixture of the quirky, comedic and the telling and are coloured with shades of pop, music theatre, folk and soul. Displaying a balance of vulnerability and humour, Angela weaves her original songs in this show, with well-known classics by famous song-writers, Paul Simon, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Mack Gordon & Harry Warren, Joni Mitchel and others.

Her performances around the country have earned her rave reviews, with The Adelaide Advertiser saying, "Harding... delivered a slick hour of tuneful accord and polished patter to an eagle eyed and eared audience, and a solid fan club...!"

In a show which sees her exploring the highs and lows of employment, marriage and school days while unlocking a vault of well-kept secrets that make her "Just Like You...Only Different."
