Ross Wilson returns to the Basement with a new 2 hour show built around the paired back semi-acoustic setting of the Ross Wilson Quartet, featuring John McAll on Piano and Vocals, Haydn Meggitt on Drums, Percussion and Vocals and Chris Paraha on Bass and Vocals inspired by the success of his sell out performances at Adelaide & Brisbane Cabaret Festivals with the "No Smoke, Just Mirrors" show.

Wilson holds a musical mirror up to his own career, all 45 years of it, allowing the audience to see the songs - and their lyrics - in a very different light. Hits like Eagle Rock, Come Back Again and Cool World, and much more of Wilson's broad catalogue is re-invented in this personal and intimate arrangement perfectly suited to a dinner and show format. He goes back to the 1960s and his first band, the Pink Finks, with a very mellow, seductive take on Louie Louie, while his 1980s Mondo Rock classic Come Said the Boy is stripped back into a torch song, before finishing the show with a rousing rendition of Eagle Rock guaranteed to have the crowd on their feet.
