“I wish on a star that this would never end”

This is just the beginning for Alex Hosking, a singer songwriter from Adelaide who has just released her debut album 'WISH'.

Wishes are coming true for this young talented singer, whose aspiration is to be nothing short of a star!

"My mind is a circus and my heart is open", is how Alex describes what is
behind her prolific songwriting, which started when she was just ten years old and she now performs at every opportunity.

At the 2011 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Alex caught the eye of charismatic
entertainer David Campbell who mentored Alex to open his show with her
original song 'Different Light'. The show, High School Musical, was quoted as
"one of the most popular and exciting shows" of the Adelaide Cabaret.
Within days of Alex graduating from school she landed in Nashville to meet
with producers..."It was very cool writing songs on the porch of a studio onceowned by Dolly Parton, on the legendary Music Rowe."

Alex continued her writing in New York and returned to Australia to
commence the production of her album and a stint in X Factor, Alex left Boot
Camp even more determined to complete her album and forge a music
career.

Alex writes pop and indie and is even writing rap songs! She is young, fun and buzzing and ready to take on the world, but most importantly she is authentic.
