'The way she sings is thrilling, earthy, seeped in emotion, almost a guilty pleasure; the kind of thing that would be embarrassing to listen to if it wasn't so good ' Liam Pieper, Beat Magazine
Following on the from the success of her single 'Fighting Kind' released in April 2012, when Frankie Magazine named her their 'musical saviour' and triple j's Zan Rowe making the single her 'catch of the day', Melbourne Melodist Ainslie Wills is fast becoming a name on everyone's lips.
A tribal-esque shimmering ditty called 'Stop pulling the string' is the next piece of the puzzle lifted from Ainslie's forthcoming debut album 'You go your way, I'll go mine'. Audibly-arresting from the first note this single delivers in an explosion for all to hear, see and feel.
Ainslie will celebrate the release of 'Stop pulling the string' with a show at GoodGod Small Club on Thursday 16th of August with special guests Caitlin Park and Brendan Maclean.
Tickets available now through moshtix.
