Red Shoe Society, Perth’s newest, most vibrant membership for young WA professional will deck the halls of the Charles Hotel as it kicks off the Christmas Party season with a Red Shoe Ho Ho Ho! - a hilarious Christmas crack-up starring nationally acclaimed comedians Dave Callan, Joel Creasey, Mike Goldstein and Emma Zammit.

Having launched with a bang at Print Hall in September this year, membership to Red Shoe Society is now open to young Western Australian professionals aged 18 - 40 years.

The Society's collective goal is to raise awareness of Ronald McDonald House Perth as a home-away-from-home for regional WA families of seriously ill children.

"We understand that young professionals have a desire to contribute and get involved in the community, but often find it difficult to give up their time or find it financially challenging to participate in hefty fundraising activities. Red Shoe Society aims to create events which are easily accessible, fun and engaging - all while increasing awareness of the Charity among young professionals". Red Shoe Society chairperson, Holly Creasey said.

Our Red Shoe Ho Ho Ho brings together some of Australia's brightest talent with Dave Callan - best known from his years on Rove Live and hosting Saturday nights on Triple J. He has appeared on Spicks and Specks, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, The Footy Show, and Hey Hey Its Saturday. The Irish Australian is in his element live on stage and is always outstanding, generous and hilarious. He has performed in New York, Edinburgh and across Asia and Australia.

The most talked about comedian in the past 3 Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, Joel was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award in 2010, and has gone from strength to strength since then; carving a unique niche for himself in Australian Comedy and selling out Melbourne, Sydney and Perth seasons.

American stand-up comedian, Mike G, has established himself as a unique and refreshing young talent in the years he has been plying his comedy wares in Australia and abroad. As well as performing stand-up on his frequent trips back to America, Mike G has also appeared on Melbourne's Champagne Comedy TV special, the Rove Daily web-site and Triple J's radio show J-Arts.

"Mike G is an international comedy sensation who had the crowd in hysterics" - 3rd Degree

In early 2010, Emma moved to Perth, WA and has impressed as a stand-up performer. Following in the footsteps of Good News Week's Claire Hooper, Emma landed the stand-up support spot for the perennially sold-out "Puppetry of Penis". Most recently Emma performed for the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow around regional WA.
