As part of Melbourne Music Week's Labels Live showcase series, Chapter Music celebrates it's 20th birthday. Beginning as a cassette label in Perth, Western Australia in 1992, Chapter Music has spread its wings over the last two decades, relocating to Melbourne in 1995 and becoming one of the nation's most enduring and respected independent labels. Releases from the likes of Twerps, Crayon Fields, Pikelet, Laura Jean and Dick Diver, and reissues from Primitive Calculators, Essendon Airport and the Can't Stop It! compilation series, have cemented the label's reputation for bringing Australia's most adventurous pop, experimental and psychedelic music-makers to the world.

To celebrate our first 20 years as a label, and the release of double LP anniversary compilation 20 Big Ones, we're putting on a huge ALL AGES party with as many Chapter acts past and present as can fit on the North Melbourne Town Hall stage in one day. Expect visual treats and other surprises, plus performances from Crayon Fields, Twerps, Beaches, Pikelet, Laura Jean, Primitive Calculators, Bum Creek, Standish/Carlyon, Jonny Telafone, New Estate and a whole lot more still to be announced!
