The Rhythm Hut, NSW
19-Twenty have been whipping up a frenzy on the festival scene. They are electric. An infectious riff and groove based blue-billy-grass-rockin'-roots band.
The Rhythm Hut is excited to welcome back the high energy, crowd favourite crazy trio that is 19-Twenty!
The 19-Twenty lads have been performing their high-energy sonic-party nationally, headlining sell-out shows and festivals in all states and territories. Constantly on the road or in the sky, they have toured seven times around Oz and performed gigs throughout Europe including Belgium, The Netherlands, France, and a suite of gigs in London (a highlight was a spell at the famous Alley Cat nightclub in SoHo). Performing anywhere and everywhere, this straight-up 100% independent act have been blazing throughout Europe and Australia and gaining new music fans/fiends from their live shows.
Supporting 19-Twenty is igh energy Newcastle duo Banjo Beats.
A duo of seasoned musicians from the Newcastle area, Dan Huish (Banjo) and Louisa Magrics (Drums) have both been playing and performing live music for over a decade. Seen performing with a host of local bands over recent years, the two have joined forces to create a project exploring their first musical love; improvisation. The artful approach draws the duo towards unique shows in interesting spaces, premiering in 2016 with intimate performances at the Lock Up Art Space in Newcastle and Subsonic Music Festival.
