The 13th Annual Rhythm and Blues Variety Revue takes place at the Astor Theatre, Mt Lawley on Saturday 2 July 2016 in support of the uniquely Australian war veterans' charity. Legacy.

This spectacular Revue is organised on behalf of Legacy in Western Australia by Perth Blues Club President of 21 years Rick Steele and Perth Legacy member Peter Heeney.

Rick said "he was pleased to announce Mt Lawley High School boy and music legend Brian Cadd will be the headline performer for this year.

Brian George Cadd (born 29 November 1946, Perth, Western Australia ) is an Australian singer-songwriter, keyboardist and producer who has performed as a member of The Groop , Axiom , Flying Burrito Brothers and solo
and established his own record label called Bootleg Records. His songwriting for other acts includes The Masters Apprentices , Bootleg Family Band, Ronnie Burns, The Pointer Sisters and Little River Band . Cadd also wrote the music for the film Alvin Purple. One of his major hits was "A Little Ray of Sunshine".

In 2007, Cadd was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame .

Some of Australia's finest performers come together to raise the awareness and funds for the families of deceased and ill health veterans of all wars, so that Legacy in WA can continue to change their lives, they include:

Matt Taylor (Chain), Rick Steele, Bob Patient, Katy Steele, Birdland, The Healys, the Rippin Horns, and the hillarious Peter Dee.
"Tiny" Holly will also entertain us with his unique style of auctioneering and last year sold a "dunny" seat signed by Rick Steele and a Garage Door, yes a Garage Door.
