The Pushs signature all ages live music festival Push Over returns to The Abbotsford Convent on Sunday 7 March, 2010. As always, Push Over will feature over 30 acts across four stages, and some of the best current crop or upcoming next big things on the Australian indie rock, hardcore and hip hop scene! Now in its 18th year, Push Over provides one of the hottest and freshest summer line ups on offer - as voted by young people from around the state!

Everyone searches for their place, but along the way it’s easy to forget that the real essence of living is to engage in it, to not only experience it but embrace the chaos and uncertainty and elation and pain and everything in between. As Jack Kerouac so poignantly and simply put it, it’s the ragged and ecstatic joy of pure being. It’s this desire to experience and live all life has to offer that so brilliantly pervades Brisbane’s Yves Klein Blue debut album, fittingly called Ragged & Ecstatic.

In the supposedly halcyon days of Oz Rock, young bands typically took a couple of albums to find their feet. They learned the crafts of writing and performing one song and one gig at a time. Back then the grind of non-stop touring would slowly polish these rough diamonds until their third album and that's when they would usually start to shine. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1", "East", "Human Frailty", "Shabooh, Shoobah" ...all of them Australian classics, all of them third albums.
