HIXXYHixxys big production break came in 1995 when he released, with the then MC Sharkey, Toytown, a massive hit that can still be heard being played at Raves even today. The tune was released by React Records and Hixxy had made a name for himself. In 1996 Hixxy released his first Album the Massive Bonkers series was born, the third instalment went silver and is the biggest selling Hardcore series ever.By 1999 the Hardcore scene was dying and Hixxy was becoming disillusioned with the tracks being released and felt the scene had had it. After a lot of soul searching Hixxy felt he couldn't abandon a scene he had put so much energy, time and money into. A decision he is now glad he made, as by 2001 Hardcore was going from strength to strength, with lots of new Raves, tunes and labels being born including his new label Raver Baby. |

SCOTT BROWNScott Brown is a Glasgow-based Scottish DJ and music producer. Brown produces and plays a variety of genres commonly called rave. Although he is most associated with bouncy techno, his music ranges from happy hardcore, through hard trance, to gabber. He was heavily involved in the evolution of the UK's hardcore techno scene from the early 1990s, in particular introducing the harder-edged sounds of Belgian and Dutch techno to the UK, and taking the Scottish sounds to Europe. A more detailed background of Brown's music style is given at bouncy techno. In 2006, his hardcore cult hit "Elysium" was married to vocals and given a trance remix treatment by dance act Ultrabeat, achieving further success for a song which is perceived by many hardcore fans as an anthemic piece of dance music. |

ANGERFISTDanny Masseling started making music at the age of 16. Beginning with 4-beat programmed loops and breakbeats etc, his interest in producing music started to grow. It almost became an obsession, and in the same addictive way as a crack junk smokes his dope, Danny worked on his music day and night. Always searching for improvement and development, his music became more and more professional. What first started out as connecting some loops into a track, slowly turned into serious hardcore house. The first ‘Angerfist EP’ was released on Overload Records. This was the first time, the name Angerfist appeared in the hardcore scene. Tracks as “Criminally Insane” and “Fuck Off” were immediately recognized as relatively big hits by the public. Danny had set foot in the scene. |

MARK EGMark's tastes span back to the early 1980's, through Detroit techno, Chicago house, electro, acid house, hard trance and hard techno. Throughout the years he's become widely acclaimed for his intense stage presence, as well as his outrageous antics behind the decks, spanning several different musical scenes and movements. His most notable achievements have included his massive popularity in the Serbian/Bosnian and Croatian techno scene; his almost cult-like status within the UK hard trance and hardstyle movements; the near sonic domination of the Canadian rave scene; his infiltration of UKs hard dance scene; and of course who could forget his place in the UK hardcore scene where Mark has been a well respected part of the furniture for the last fifteen years - playing regularly at all the main events such as Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Hardcore Heaven and Slammin Vinyl. |
