Apollo Bay Music Festival

The Apollo Bay Music Festival is a multi genre event featuring more than 70 outstanding acts. From Rock to comedy, theatre to jazz, hip hop to blues, country to world, Apollo Bay has it all. Set in the magnificent environs of the Otway Ranges on the Great Ocean Rd, the Apollo Bay Music Festival is one of Victorias most outstanding regional events.

	KASEY CHAMBERS Throughout her career Kasey has earned the respect of some musical giants such as Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yokham, Ben Harper and author/filmmaker Michael Moore to name a few. Always moving forward, Kasey is currently working on the next project “Kasey Chambers, Poppa Bill & The Little Hillbillies”. This includes her first children’s book and joint effort Album with her Dad Bill, which also sees the debut of a new generation of singer/songwriters. The Little Hillbillies are made up of Kasey’s sons Talon and Arlo, Bill’s further additions, Jake and Tyler, Nash’s tribe of 3, Eden, Skye and Béla and best friend Worm’s son Townes.			OH MERCY After saturating the nation's airwaves with the tracks Seemed Like a Good Idea, Lay Everything On Me and Get You Back, harmonically sublime Melbourne quartet Oh Mercy are hitting the road this October to celebrate the release of their debut album Privileged Woes. Featuring the song writing talents of Alexander Gow and Thomas Savage, Oh Mercy work from a blueprint that references the likes of The Go-Betweens and Television to deliver a unique sound that has struck a resonant chord with listeners around the country. Gow and Savage create intelligent pop music that envelops the listener, leaving a glorious indelible mark on the soul.

	WAshington From the complex idiosyncrasy of her arrangements to the devastating content of songs like her debut self-released EP 'Clementine'. Washington won a spot on the Big Day Out bill through the Triple J Unearthed contest, and 'Clementine' stuck fast to the Australian indie-charts for three weeks, proof of her early growing stature as an artist.			WHITLEY With a new band and a new sound, Whitley hits the road this November to spread the good word. Whitley will take his five piece band on tour nationally taking to all states and a territory with special guests everywhere. The 'Go Forth Find Mammoth Tour' will be not what you are expecting and everything you have been waiting for.

	LABJACD LABJACD (say "Lab-Jacked") is a monster 9 piece band that's been working Australia's dance floors and festivals since 2005. Known for their powerful sound and a guns blazin' live set they have won loyal fans and respect wherever they've performed. Not pure hip-hop, not a straight funk band, not exactly world music, LABJACD's sound grew organically from the diverse backgrounds and experiences of its founding members.			TIJUANA CARTEL If Carlos Santana had been hanging out in Iraq for the last 10 years then he would have to sound something like the Gold Coast's own Tijuana Cartel. Their performances are a concoction of multi-layered grooves, splashes of Middle Eastern vocals, lilting Moby-esque soundscapes, flamenco and slide guitar, trumpet, electronic world beats and live Latin Cuban Percussion. A fusion of world music and phat electronic beats.
