Buying tickets using your mobile phone

moshtix has a special mobile phone portal that makes buying tickets using your mobile a breeze, from just about anywhere.

If you have a 3G mobile phone, go to moshtix.mobi. You can buy tickets extremely easily at no additional cost, other than the cost of your mobile's web connection. (Refer to your carrier's rates for more info).

If you have an iphone, go to iphone.moshtix.com.au, and you'll connect with Australia's first customised-for-iphone ticketing service. Basically, if you can access the internet from your mobile phone, you are in business.

Simplified system

Buying tickets with your mobile is as easy as using your computer at home. The mobile system is designed to be extremely simple, with page files kept as small as possible to ensure rapid page loading and swift progress. It also means that data transfer costs are kept to a minimum.

Here's how it works

Step 1 – Find the show you want tickets for.
Step 2 – Select the number of tickets you want.
Step 3 – You'll be asked for your mobile number or email address. If you have used moshtix before, your details will probably already be loaded. Enter your password and onwards to step 4. If not, it only takes a minute to enter them.
Step 4 – Confirm your order.

2 kinds of tickets

moshtix is a paperless ticketing company. That means that your tickets are delivered electronically. We don't mail tickets out to you. There are 2 ways for you to receive your tickets. Which one applies depends on the kind of event you are buying tickets for.

Your phone will tell you which kind of tickets you have bought at the time of your purchase.

Credit Card / moshcard electronic tickets

This kind of ticket is usually used for gigs in venues. Your credit card becomes your ticket. When you arrive at the gig, you must take the credit card that you made the purchase with. At the door to the venue will be a card “swiper”. The swiper reads your card, and knows exactly how many tickets you have bought using that card. You swipe your card and you and your friends enter the venue.

Email tickets

This kind of ticket is usually used for big venues and festivals. Once you have completed the purchase transaction, the ticket is sent to you via email as a pdf.
