PURCHASE/ENTRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: To purchase tickets, please read all the Terms and Conditions. moshtix may, without prior written notice, invalidate any tickets that are believed to be in breach of these terms and conditions, and no refund, replacement or compensation will be offered.

1) This is an 18+ event.

2) NO LAD POLICY: Lads and Lad clothing will not be allowed into the event.

3) No refunds or exchanges on any ticket except as required by and/or specified by the Entertainment Industry Code of Fair Practice. Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the promoter.

4) Your barcoded print out ticket is your ticket to the event, this must be presented at the gate to gain entry. Your ticket will be emailed to the email address specified during booking as a PDF attachment once your card has been successfully charged. If you are unable to print your ticket(s) or do not receive your ticket(s) please bring photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the ticket to the event entry gate. moshtix staff members can then look up your booking from your details.

5) At the point of entry the ticket presented must match the FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH specified in the booking history and you will be asked to present a current matching driver's license, "RTA Proof of Age" card or Passport that matches this information.

6) You must nominate the FULL NAME & DATE OF BIRTH of ALL attendees, and receive separate barcoded ticket for everyone. Each ticket will be emailed separately.

7) Each ticket attracts a booking fee, which are inclusive of GST. We accept VISA and MasterCard only.

8) The promoter/venue reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised prices, event times and inclusions without notice. The promoter/venue reserves the right of admission.

9) It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for re-sale on 3rd party websites such as Ebay or Gumtree. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

10) Tickets may be re-issued 1 time. This incurs a fee of $15 per ticket. Ticket re-issues will close 48 hours prior to event start time.

11) moshtix provides this service on behalf of the event promoter/venue.

12) NO LIQUIDS of any type are permitted to be brought into the event or camping area. This includes all vessels that contain liquids such as water bottles, soft drinks, liquids such as perfume bottles etc.

 

Defqon.1 FESTIVAL | CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

-           This is an over 18’s event. Entry will be refused to persons under the age of 18.

-          It is a legal requirement that patrons attending “Defqon1” produce ID and information on request to Police, Security or Officials. Acceptable forms of ID to be supplied are Australian Drivers License, Passport or Over 18’s photo ID.

-           No admission into Defqon.1 after 7.30pm

-          In caring for patron safety we reserve the right to refuse entry to people who are intoxicated and / or disorderly.

-          Patrons choosing to leave valuables on the premises do so at their own risk.

-          All patrons are subject to a metal detector search upon entry.

-          Any wristband removed from wrist or tampered with will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Lost or missing wristbands will not be replaced. Pass outs will not be issued for this event.

-          The Organization is entitled to search, pat down and/or bag check visitors to the Event (or to outsource this) when they enter and/or during the Event. A person who refuses to undergo such a search, pat down and/or bag check may be prohibited from entering the Event without being entitled to a refund of the admission fee, or such a visitor may be immediately removed from the Event.

-           Q-Dance Australia reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons.

-          Smoking at this event is restricted to “smoking areas”

-           The visitor is explicitly aware that loud music will be played during the event. The Organization advises the visitors to give their hearing a rest now and then during the Event by going to a different location where no music is being played. Visitors shall not mosh, crowd surf or stage dive. Visitors are advised to look after themselves with ear plugs, weather protection and by drinking plenty of water. Do not bring valuables.

-          The Organization is not liable for the content of the programme or the manner in which it is carried out, explicitly including the length of the programme.

-          “Under the provisions of the N.S.W. Civil Liability Act 2002 No22 persons who may intend to swim in and/or across these waters could be facing a risk of drowning or hypothermia. Persons are advised to assess their own risk. DEFQON 1”

-          There is no swimming at this event. Anyone enters the water will be ejected from the event immediately.

-          The use of earplugs is recommended if long term hearing loss is of concern to you. The Promoters of the event will not be held liable for any hearing damage or loss.

 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE

-          Any item/article that Q-dance management or security believe/suspect may be used/taken for the purposes of administering or storing illicit drugs or pharmaceuticals that are not used for justifiable medical purposes will be confiscated;

-          Any illicit drugs - Patrons found in the possession of illegal drugs will be immediately referred to the police.

-          Audio or video recording devices (including all cameras and video equipment);

-          Alcoholic refreshments;

-          Liquid containers

-          Umbrellas;

-           Fold up chairs;

-          BBQ’s;

-          Glass bottles, aluminium cans, metal containers or breakable containers;

-          Offensive weapons, including potential missiles;

-          Anything that can be thrown at anyone;

-          Fireworks, flares, Highly flammable or explosive substances;

-          Large chains or spiked bracelets;

-          Wallet chains;

-          Laser Pens;

-          Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles;

-          Dogs or other pets;

-           Eskies

-          Banners or any other signs or materials bearing offensive, malicious, hurtful, provocative or political Text all representations;

-           Flags, Flag Poles, badges or symbols likely to disrupt.

-           Football shirts, club insignia or clothing that suggests membership or allegiance to a gang, such as “the lad” items of clothing, Nautical brand or similar
