Australian Tour March 2010

w/ The Flatliners (Canada / Fat Wreck)

This March (2010), Punk Rock pioneers, legends, heros whatever you wish to call them, will play 9 selected venues across Australia.

It has been 12 long years since the incredible unit known as NFAA have graced our shores (with MXPX, back in 1998)

This time, the band will be supported by Canadian band The Flatliners Fat Wreck. Both bands will hit every capitol city on the tour / plus a few extra dates..

No Fun At All: Biography.
It's a long way home from wherever you are if your hometown is SKINNSKATTEBERG/FAGERSTA in Sweden while going bonkers all over the world for more than a decade. With four albums and two compilations "No straight angles" 1994, "Out Of Bounds" 1995, "The Big Knockover" 1997, "EP's Going Steady" 1998, "State Of Flow" 2000 and Master Celebrations 2002.

So in 2001 NFAA took a break! In 2004 we started doing occasional re-union gigs. One thing led to another and suddenly a new album had been recorded in Studio Underground.

The new album 'Low Rider' shows that NFAA today is back to the sound of the early days. Drawing major influences from bands as RAMONES, early BAD RELIGION, ROKY ERICKSON, early US punk/HC and 67-72. The album is comprised of thirteen orginals written by the two headed dog 'FAKTA & INGO', plus a cover version of IN FLAMES 'EPISODE 666'.

In the spirit of D.I.Y the first release is on our own label 'BEAT M DOWN RECORDS'. Marketing, administration and distribution are handled by Stockholm based company Deaf & Dumb Music and its subsidiary partners all over the world. Plans are being made for European shows in early 2010.

So crank it up and enjoy the ride !!.

The Flatliners: Biography
THE FLATLINERS have been playing punk rock/reggae/grime that makes you want to dance and punch for 7 years now. That's rad. It's been fun too. Fun is rad.

THE FLATLINERS were making music together before they were old enough to drive a car. Before they were old enough to buy alcohol they had already released two albums: 2005's Destroy to Create (Stomp Records) and their 2007 Fat Wreck debut The Great Awake. Since then this Toronto-based four piece have toured the world enough to make even the most road-savvy bands homesick.

With an impressive road resume that boasts tours along side punk icons like NOFX and Bad Religion, The FLATLINERS continue to mature and progress, an evolution obvious on their new Fat 7" Cynics. "We usually catch ourselves writing parts that may be a bit more challenging to play at first, but we're up to it. We're constantly trying to be better at our respective instruments and keep things interesting for ourselves. That's the fun part of writing your own songs. You can do whatever the hell you want." said singer Chris Cresswell. Recorded again by Steve Rizun at Drive Studios, who has worked with the band on all previous releases, the three song on Cynics are sure to impress and intrigue old fans and new listeners alike. And with cover art by Richard Minino (Horesbites) you can be sure it will look just as good as it sounds.

Tickets will be onsale November 12th Purchase yours at this date to catch NFAA on their last ever Australian tour and be a part of the punk rock party..
