Waltz N Black to Launch Debut Album, Fat Cats

On Saturday 6th September 2008, rock/funk band Waltz N Black will launch their highly anticipated debut album. Fat Cats, at Sonar, Luna Park, in Sydney.

Waltz N Black is a four piece rock/funk band from Central Coast, New South Wales, that formed in 2006 when lead guitarist Matt Stalgis began a new group with bassist, Josh O’Brien. They were soon joined by drummer Grant Molloy and vocalist Sean Thomson.

Since late 2007 interstate work has been a priority for Waltz N’ Black, performing gigs in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne. They have established a solid fan base both in Australia and internationally, and this has been enhanced by their high placement on myspace music charts and having over 3000 plays per day on their myspace site.

This album titled Fat Cats is an album that has remained the core of who Waltz N Black are, and that is, an energetic act. If you hear it on the album, you will hear it live. An album with drive and dynamics, from one song to the next, a spirited and riff filled album.  Waltz N Black is focused on providing the highest quality entertainment.

Fat Cats album launch marks the beginning of Waltz N Black’s Australian tour, which will encompass New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

Line up for the night will include local NSW acts, Inflight Entertainment and Fallen Silver from 8pm.
