Charismatic jazz man Steve Sedergreen combines the ancient Aboriginal concept of ‘deep listening’ with progressive and intuitive jazz improvisation.

The Aboriginal concept of 'deep listening' goes beyond the hearing of sounds, to a deep contemplative process that connects people and builds communities.

Steve Sedergreen takes this profound Indigenous art form and combines it with jazz, the art for which he is famous, in a folio of solo piano, small ensemble and orchestral compositions grounded in the deep listening process. Steve will perform with his long-time collaborator, drummer Michael Jordan and Castlemaine didgeridoo player Ron Murray.
