TUESDAY DECEMBER 9, 2014 - Global social media phenomenon LINDSEY STIRLING is returning to Australia this summer and will also perform in New Zealand for the first time.
One of the biggest artist development breakthrough stories in recent years, in February Stirling will return to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, where she played sell out shows in 2013, and will play debut shows in Perth, Adelaide and Auckland.
Picking up the violin at five-years-old, classically trained Lindsey has created a futurist world of electronic big beats and animation, garnering huge attention with more than half a billion views on YouTube and with Billboard chart-topping hits and sell-out world tours.
After wowing Australian audiences at sold out headline shows last year, Lindsey is back to tour her sophomore studio album Shatter Me.
Tickets go on sale Monday December 15 at 9am in Sydney, 10am in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and midday in Auckland (all local times).

Appearing first as a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent in 2010, Lindsey Stirling attracted massive support, combining the romance of classical technique with the infectious energy of dance and electronica, eliciting an immediate reaction from audiences.
From this foundation, Lindsey began publishing a wide array of videos on YouTube - both covers and original compositions - capturing an excess of more than 700 million views and nearly six million subscribers. Her video for her original song Crystallize has garnered more than 110 million views.
Lindsey has composed, choreographed and directed many of her original videos, while injecting her own flavour into instrumental covers through themes from Game of Thrones, Phantom of the Opera and video game themes such as Zelda, Halo, Assassin's Creed and more, rousing a dedicated following from international gaming communities.
In addition to her loyal and enthusiastic YouTube fans, she has more than three million Facebook fans, plus more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and Twitter.
On the live stage, Lindsey's performances are even more dramatic, exciting and technically impressive. She continues to rivet audiences with her own unique genre of music and dance.
