One of Australia’s most celebrated musicians, guitarist James Muller teams up with Australia’s leading jazz orchestra for an exciting new project.

Further affirming it's artistic mission, the Sydney-based 'Mothership' is delivering a sensational new program that promotes new Australian music played by cutting edge Australian musicians in collaboration with one of the worlds leading arrangers, Florian Ross.

Since its inception in 2003, ARIA nominated Mothership Orchestra has gained a reputation as one of the worlds most exciting and innovative independent jazz orchestras. Comprising seventeen members playing 5 saxophones, five trumpets, four trombones, guitar, piano, bass and drums, the Mothership represents many of Australia's finest young improvisers and beams our a supernova of energy and sound.

Guitarist James Muller is one of the most exciting and innovative musicians on the Australian music scene today. His distinctive sound, coupled with masterful improvisation and breathtaking virtuosity, was initially inspired by the rock guitar legends of the sixties & seventies, until the harmonic complexities of jazz caught his ear.

The Plate & Glass meal includes one meal option with one glass of selected wine which will be made available at the Green Room Bar from the time doors open through to 10:30pm.

Dinner & Show tickets include entry, seating and 2 course meal.

Dinner & Show tickets are only available via Moshtix.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).

The Basement has very limited accessibility for patrons with disabilities, however please contact the venue to ensure there is adequate availability for you to enjoy the show comfortably and they can advise on the recommended seating options.
